• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

This week’s analysis will be on the games at Stoke and Middlesbrough and a couple of “favourable” decisions. First the Stoke game. This game had a very good feel to it, with the ref allowing minor fouls and playing advantages. He also kept his cards in his pocket as much as he could. He also seemed to have a quick word with players rather than make himself centre of attention. However, this seemed to change in the 2nd half when Clarke came on and went down under any contact...

Sorry your wrong there, Naughton’s you could say 50/50 some you get some you don’t I think we were lucky.
Fulton fouled, he was kneed in the thigh and his trailing leg was taken thus stopping him getting a clearance in, Bidwell stonewall penalty, he was coming in at speed got there first and was taken out, if the defender had left the ball it would have come to nothing. Defenders choice.
The fact that the ref pointed for a corner then changed his mind, again doesn’t matter. Imagine the other way round points for a penalty then thinks no it was a corner, people will be saying well done ref for having balls to get it right etc.
