Thought the penalty for the foul on Bianchini was a stonewall from the stand.
There was no logical reason for him to go down unless he was fouled - it was almost a tap in moment at that stage

It never ceases to amaze me how many refs miss pens like this, they never seem to ask themselves the most obvious question - why would a player go down in front of goal when he has a clear chance to score a very easy goal?

The ref was awful. Of the three penalty shouts there were very strong cases made for the one in the first half when the defender underhit a back pass and then made sure he took out Eom on the follow through by raising his leg to catch him.

The Bianchini one was also a strong case for a penalty. Bianchini had already done the hard work, he rolled his defender and brought the ball under control, he was turning to face the keeper with the ball under control from 6 yards out. There was literally zero reason for him to voluntarily go down.

Even the red card I thought was a refereeing error, the lad who got sent off was the one in the wrong place at the wrong time after Eom had ridden three challenges and was already off balance by the time he got to him.

Then again they could easily have had two penalties against them and two red cards for other challenges that went unpunished (such as their attacker who put a foot in on Grimes and went down pretending to be injured. He tried to milk time but got it wrong when the ref had waved medics on the pitch and was forced off for 30 seconds)

Edwards knew that should have been a red and took him straight off.
A definite second yellow

The sending off was a second booking mun! I told you yesterday - you get sent off for a second yellow, which it was.😂😂

My point being that Eom was fouled two or three times before he even made it to their player and was already off balance and going down. The lad was in the wrong place at the wrong time and didn't actually play a part in the fouling
