I was in Neath earlier and about 15 blokes came out of a pub together to go to the Gnoll for James Hooks testimonial virtually all dressed the same in blazers, faded jeans & brown shoes.
How did that uniform become a thing then?

Serious question.

Nothing wrong with brown shoes with jeans? Looks better than wearing black shoes/boots imo.

Yeah but why do they all dress the same mun?

From the Valleys most probably.

You get discount for buying in bulk innit.👍 Every little helps.😉

It's a testimonial, they've probably all arranged to dress the same in some "statement".
Very much like oldd guys who have long hair and wear clobber from the 70's bands they follow......

As we’re all liberal and tolerant folk on here why does anyone give a shit what anyone else wears?

I don’t I’m just asking why thousands of grown men dress the same to go to the rugger.

You must care otherwise you wouldn’t ask.

I’m genuinely interested in how it became a thing.

Same as anything Shirley.

Rock fans (moshers).
Football casuals.
Ravers.
Goths.
Punks.
Hunting set.

Nothing unusual.
