It was almost a month ago that interest in Russell Martin was first reported and pretty much the same period of time that it has been said that he is making his managerial move to Southampton.   Since then discussions/stories about agreed compensation, non agreed compensation, player targets and Premier...

…..the week they get their ‘men’, maybe.

Pato is back in SA1 early by all accounts, rumoured to be meeting with RM. Along with a couple of other non-local based players.

With better/fitter players around him, Pato could be the creative catalyst RM’s (new) system craves.

It's what some are saying.

Wouldn't surprise me, despite the falling out they had. He was in a deep trough at that time but is now buzzing, became proper dressing room leader, again. Apparently.

Let's hope our astute owners don't let Russy strip out our spine (not that Pato was integral, but was a key cog when it came together)

If I’m honest with you, I wouldn’t be disappointed to see Pato leave, I just don’t think he’ll reach the level he showed with us.

He had a period in his first season where he was linking with Piroe & looked a real player, for the remaining season and a half he was a waste of a wage.

Tomorrow is when Southampton become one of our rivals officially, so fuk off Russ your someone else's problem, hopefully a Davies reveal down SA1 tomorrow too, get it done!!
