Women's cricket and women's sport in general is extremely high profile nowadays and the financial rewards are now there to be had, but in return the players need to realise they have to be professional on and off the pitch, a good diet and elite standard fitness goes hand in hand or expect to be left behind....

The fielding I’ve highlighted is beyond shocking.

This isn’t a one off. Look at the comments on BBC. Are they all Sid the sexist stuff?

Leaving aside the silly debate that’s unfortunately dominated this thread, this entire tour has been an absolute shambles and should lead to a complete rethink of England’s women’s team. It’s complacent and if the women’s game is to progress even further than it has in this country now is the time to rip it up and have a complete rethink, McCullum/ Stokes style.

Player for player there's not much between Australia and England, it's all about conditioning and mindset. Take 34 year old Ellyse Perry for instance, batting as well as ever and throwing herself around like a 20 year old, and that goes for every single one of the Aussies...

Completely agree. They honestly remind me of the men’s team in some of its worst moments. Individual talent in abundance but very little in the way of all the things that actually win games and series. Major reset needed.
