• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

France are playing Italy on BBC 2 later this evening, aren't France supposed to be the team to beat?

They are one of the tradtional powerhouse nations in the Womens game and are always one of the favourites

But in their best efforts to replicate the men they're busy squabbling with one another at the moment, the coach isnt popular and the players don't particularly like one another

I'm pretty sure that when Wales were due to play them they were expected to win 10 nil!!! But Wales only lost 2 nil or drew....can't remember.
Anyway they've got a striker who's strike rate is supposedly clean off!!!
Looking forward.
Italian women are as fiery as peppers that Jonny Cash sang about in his hit song "Jackson" with his 2nd wife June Carter

Careful what you say Bryn, every comment on our site is being looked at from afar and scrutinised for possible homophobic content, screenshots are being taken apparently, and your social media accounts (Facebook/Twitter) will be delved into...
I'm not even joking mate 🙃

Be careful Bryn, posts are being deleted (at the speed of light) for suggesting such things, I'll give my post 90 seconds before it gets taken down

More than four million for the opening game. Haven’t seen any numbers for other games so far.

The England men usually get 10+ million audiences when they play at a major tournament

Not sure anyone has ever claimed that women’s football is as popular as men’s, Skip.

That’s because people love to watch a car crash.
