Nothing has changed with England, Tommy Tickle won't make any difference.

As a nation they delude themselves that they have talent on a par with the likes of Spain, France, Portugal, Germany etc when it couldn't be further from the truth, and they'll have their arses handed to them at the back end of the next tournament from the quarter finals onwards by one of those teams, or Brazil or Argentina.

Rinse and repeat.

Got booed off by the faithful at the end too. Engerland Engerland Engerland...

Henry Winter described it as England struggling to beat a ski resort. I thought that was quite funny.
Alex Crooks on Talkshyt predicted 0-8 yesterday, got shot down by Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony who predicted 0-2. Fucking deluded clowns 🤡

Basically the Cardiff of international football.
Aye.

WE won the World Cup.

Yeah, waayyy back in 1066. And it was just the once with a home advantage to boot.

Consistently crumble when the tournament really heats up on the whole.

I’m definitely no fan of England but it’s difficult not to acknowledge the quality that they have now compared to when Hodgson was in charge. I think they should have won something by now though, might look back on this period as another golden generation wasted.

Give me a team of mostly championship players and a sprinkle of premiur league and upcomers from the Swans academy, and that is Wales. Take this all day over England. Like Swansea, Wales is the little engine, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can". Not we deserve to win ala England.

They're pinning their hopes on Tuchel being a 'tournament manager' or something. I will be laughing my head off if he can't take them as far as Southgate next summer.

Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea City🦢
