And? What is your point WS?

Think Bristol City and Reading are on the typical new manager bounces. It won't last

We have a great squad. It’s up to the manager to get a tune out of them. He’s getting a there, let’s hope he hasn’t peaked.

That they're above us AND have new managers. Keep up mun, that's two points

It's not that great. We've no cover at CB, which is a worry fielding 3 CBs. Our keeper cover looks dodgy as feck (we're weaker than last year, no question). We've not much cover in midfield. And we only have 1 out and out senior striker, and he's a youngster on loan. Cullen is a prospect but only that.

Agree about CBs - I think Naughton is seen as the cover and Cooper can be recalled rom Newport. Benda did fine, seems more confident in a melee.
But if you meant the squad is weaker than last season, I can't agree.
The only players who would get in the side from last year would be Mike Van Der Hoorn and Celina, the latter only with another manager.
We started last season with Surridge as our only striker this season we have Gyökeres and Cullen. Will Gyökeres be better than Surridge? I'd hope so.
In come Smith (upgrade), Gabs-White (upgrade), Lowe (replacement for McKay so ... upgrade).
Youngsters Cabango, Woodman, Benda and to a degree Rodon have had a season of experience in senior football.
Guehi has improved and, IMO, more offers more balance to the defence than Wilmot.
Gallagher came in late but was, IMO, no better than Byers.

Yes, they are two points above us. ;)

I'm struggling to work out what the point was to be honest. Maybe if every team changed their manager every four games they'd get a new manager bounce and every team would win every game?

There's a flaw in that reasoning somewhere. :D

We’re short no doubt, but we have some good quality.

You're right. Frightening when you look at those who are chasing promotion and what they have at their disposal. Not that I'm suggesting we go out and get that calibre but when we have one out and out striker it does suggest we need strengthening.

Brentford - Toney/Forss/Ghoddos
Bournemouth - King/Solanke
Bristol City - Diedhou/Wells/Weimann
QPR - Bonne/Dykes
Forest - Grabban/Taylor and four others!!!

Potentially if we'd had Brewster this season we'd have gone up automatically

He obviously pointing out that the three teams above us have that temporary new manager bounce and they will soon be below us.

Haha nice one mate.

Is that Quest Channel on free to air mate? I did a channel search last month but didn’t see it.

Watched Quest this morning, thought Bristol City looked a real handful in attack, very sharp, defensively weak though.
