• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

They reckon thousands of people will have driven past them in the last 48 hours without knowing they lay there dead and dying

The owner of the car is the kid of a former Cardiff player according to the Mail

Dreadful incident, 3 young lives lost and 2 seriously ill.

One of the papers reporting the young lad Rafel Jeanne is one of the victims. His father was with QPR, Cardiff and a host of Welsh league teams. I can remember people talking about his footballing ability, he was apparently very talented but had his issues off the field. According to Wikipedia the old man is now inside having had a lengthy stretch at one of his majesty’s facilities.

Condolences to all the families, losing a youngster in these circumstances is just dreadful. RIP.

That must be Leon Jeanne or something like this? I remember the surname and him being touted as the next big thing for Welsh footy.

So sad.

My daughter had a similar crash a few years ago on a busy roundabout. It was only that someone was driving behind her or nobody would have known she was there. Fortunately she was relatively unscathed. It was a good job that she was going slow. I didn't believe it but the other driver confirmed it, the road was greasy after rain and some diesel spill. I drive past the spot everyday and am still amazed how you can be 15 feet away from the road and not be seen.
