• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Looks like the club are trying to stop the exodus by offering cheap tickets and hospitality across the board for this one. Most expensive match tickets are £14.50 and kids for a quid.

I’m not sure it’s going to be enough. Burnley was as empty as I’ve seen the place except for fringe cup games and pre-season friendlies.

They should have done it for the Derby game where the proverbial twelfth man would be more important.
They should probably do it for every home game between now and the end of the season.

No doubt one or to would moan because they've paid money for their season tickets, what about us, what about us!!

I certainly wouldn't have moaned, it's really sad to see all the empty seats in the stadium, particularly the family stand , where the supporters of the future should be. Anything that encourages more of our fans to attend matches is fine by me.

Same here. I'd rather sit in a full stadium with a decent atmosphere.

Sadly not everyone thinks like us and will find something to beat the club with.

I've been both a STH and a non STH over the years, and I've never ceased to be amazed by how precious some STHs are. It's a form of snobbery, really. And totally unnecessary.

Completely agree with the sentiments above that it's a case of the more the merrier. Especially in a relegation battle.
