This

It should be whoever didn’t take a refund should have priority otherwise there was literally no point in not taking a refund as there was no benefit.

I have left my season ticket money from 19/20 and last season with the club over £500. No offence but I should be priority along with others who have done this.

so u should benefit because you was lucky enough to be in a position to do that y should people who needed the money be punished

The fact is that when the refunds were offered, the club stated at the time that anyone who left their money in would be prioritised when fans were allowed back in. To change their mind on that would be very unfair as it was a major factor in my (and I’m sure many other peoples’) decision to not have the refund.

I fully appreciate your point that some people aren’t fortunate enough to be able to forego the refund, but equally by that standard I’m sure there are people who would have loved to have had a season ticket in the first place but couldn’t afford it. They obviously wouldn’t expect priority in this situation.

The club’s plan didn’t unfairly treat those who took the refund, as they still kept first dibs on their seat for the following season, but the offer to prioritise fans who didn’t take the refund was an incentive for them to do so, not a means of unfairly treating others. It seems a reasonable plan in difficult circumstances.

Not reduced price, they'll be free to those who are lucky in the ballot.

Good post this. I am not a season ticket holder so i have no chance of a ticket but this is spot on.

It will be all those fans who currently have a streaming code for matches as a result of the fact they kept their cash in the club will be put in a ballot and pulled out at random.

Fairest way and probably a 50/50 chance of getting a ticket for those ST holders.

As stated above it was made clear that if you kept your money in you would get preferential treatment on a return to the stadium. I would imagine that even then some of those drawn may not want to go on their own or would be wary of returning for health reasons etc.

I just hope the club remember the promise they made to those ticket holders who didn’t take a refund.

We won’t be going if one of us gets a ticket. (Me & my Mrs)

As a matter of interest how many season ticket holders do we have?
