Time to move on

Perhaps a toxic atmosphere will wake everyone at the club awake. That includes the chairman, manager and players.

Sitting there waving a white flag isn't going to help.
I put on a different thread about the apathy of a lot of the fans. Happy to whinge like fuck on here, or give excuses, or say we have to support the team. If we'd had this type of attitude during Petty times we wouldn't be a club anymore.

And I'd rather we get relegated with the Omnipotent Chairman, the manager and the players knowing how they've abjectly failed us than golf clapping everyone and them all thinking how unlucky we've been. Despite Williams absolute ineptness at manager, let's be honest some of the players have been waving the white flag since at least the New Year. And up to now not one raised voice that I've seen. Ridiculous.

They are much more active than you might think. Just like we all post with pseudonyms (well, most do anyway) so do they, on various sites, it doesn't take a great deal to work out when they are. In Jake Silverstein's case he was actually putting his name to stuff for a while.

They'll be laughing their tits off at the gullible fans backing them up, trust me.

There's someone who posts constantly on the other site who you'd think is a close connection to the former owners but they are so batshit I don't think even the sellouts would agree with the constant narrative the clown puts out.

Is it the same one who doesn't like the opposition fans singing about sheep?

You would rather get relegated out of spite.... got it, very rational statement. Personally I would rather get behind them and give them shit when an appropriate time arrives (i.e. at the end of shit performances or when the season has got no legs left in it). Each to their own

Being a passionate football fan isn’t for everyone.
I think anyone posting or getting involved with a fan forum, regardless of the size of the club, has an obvious passion so not sure what substance is behind that comment

What you talking about ? Rather get relegated out of spite, where the hell have you read that ? All I've said is that the time for action is now from the fans.

Possibly trying to make a point of the word passionate ? Perhaps he feels that its not really passionate sitting back, saying nothing, doing nothing and accepting the ridiculous status quo ? Any fool can post on a fans forum. How does that make them passionate ? I reiterate to a point I made earlier. If the fans around the time of Petty had been like so many are like today, there wouldn't be a club any more.

Taking the time to visit and engage with a fans' forum is more than most supporters will do, it shows a level of passion and care for the club beyond the norm.

There’s no definitive right or wrong time to voice displeasure, but some moments are better than others. Given our current position, creating a negative atmosphere going into crucial games is hardly ideal. When the season has less at stake, that would be the time to make our feelings heard.

Too many of them have had a free ride for far too long. They're just taking supporters for mugs.

The club gets relegated and the likes of Tymon are off to their next club getting paid handsomely for being average at what they do.

The quicker fans show their feelings the better. It won't happen purely because we don't have the fanbase to behave in that way.

I just don't get the apathy. God bless their cotton socks that the lavishly paid players, manager and chairman be told how crap they are. Let's tell them when we're relegated when they'll give less of a fuck cause they'll be looking for new teams. If you worked in an office and were continuously underperforming would you be told when you made the company bankrupt or before.
The meek and apathetic stand point makes my blood boil more than the players et al. As they'll still be bipping about the club next week and the week after but don't want to do or say anything other than on here.

It's already negative and toxic. By shouting "Oh unlucky *insert any name*" won't change that.

That’s fair enough. I just believe it’s best to save that kind of noise for when the season is wrapping up, and we have a clearer idea of where we stand.

To be clear, I’m not saying they should be let off the hook, far from it. The whole situation has turned into a complete farce. It would just be a shame if we happened to play a small part into our slip into a

Like that at the end of every game, clapping the players at the front of the East stand after the Coventry shitshow, hoping one of the losers give them a shirt. Should be throwing rotten tomatoes 🍅 at them , like the Italian fans did after they lost to North Korea in 1966.

Fans will stuck up for Williams like they did Martin due to a lack of support from the board.

People will always find excuses.
