Time to move on

Like that at the end of every game, clapping the players at the front of the East stand after the Coventry shitshow, hoping one of the losers give them a shirt. Should be throwing rotten tomatoes 🍅 at them , like the Italian fans did after they lost to North Korea in 1966.
If one of them threw me their shirt, I'd throw it back.

Support the team, not the regime.
Aye, we really don't want to end up back in league 1 and trying to get out again. It would probably take the remaining years I have left. In fact, If Skip is to be believed, I'd barely see out relegation.

Taking the time to visit and engage with a fans' forum is more than most supporters will do, it shows a level of passion and care for the club beyond the norm.

There’s no definitive right or wrong time to voice displeasure, but some moments are better than others. Given our current position, creating a negative atmosphere going into crucial games is hardly ideal. When the season has less at stake, that would be the time to make our feelings heard.
Obviously a club shill

And your plan is to do what? Not support the club anymore?
I won't mindless clap mediocrity like you, if it's going well I'll cheer if it's going rubbish I'll criticise.

If I came and replaced your roof for 30 grand and left a big hole in it with water pouring in would you thank me? Nah you'd moan like hell.

I'm not telling you how to fan, you do you and I'll do me. 👍

I don't clap mindless mediocrity either, as stated above. But stating that supporting the team is supporting the regime is nonsense. Support from the start, give shit at the end if the performance is shit. Not supporting at the start by taking some ego inflated stance is ludicrous.

You issue you'll find with "supporters" like this is they enjoy it more when we lose.

When the team is doing well they are nowhere to be seen.

Don't think any fan that goes there doesn't support the team from the start, but if they are 3 goals down at half time then i think I'm well entitled to voice my opinion disapprovingly. What i won't be doing is continually clapping them off , particularly during the run that we are on, like some of our fans.

Wow. This may be the most pathetic thread that’s been on here for a while.
Don’t make a fuss. Really?

The chairman is unable to fulfil his basic duties. It doesn’t matter why that’s the case. It’s a statement of fact. A bit of humility and admittance of failings is what is needed.

This has been an absolutely disastrous window. Added to the disastrous previous windows, disastrous commercial activities, disastrous state of fan communication, disastrous finances, disastrous state of the blooming pitch.

The issue for those at the club isn’t people being angry, it’s people who don’t care any longer and have walked away. Because once people realise how much time is taken up by getting themselves to the stadium every other week and how much of their life they are devoting to a club where the ownership is utterly incompetent, they will not return.

Those that do make the huge effort to give up so much time to go to a match are more than entitled to voice whatever displeasure they like against the fools that are responsible for such a calamitous situation.

Excellent post, and a proper dose of reality to the aged online crew.

Far too many Debbie Downers online nowadays who are so utterly out of touch with the reality of our Club. Far too many shouty, bitter peripherals nowadays without a cause, lashing out. Incoherently.

Perspective and timing, is everything.

What exactly are all the Debbies out of touch with?

As an example, I've been waiting for years for my son's interest in football to grow, especially regarding the Swans. I loved being a season ticket holder with my father from League 2 to the PL and have wanted to do the same with my son.

At this time however, I find myself talking him out of the idea of getting season tickets for next season. Partly because I know he's not actually that keen to go regularly, but also because I just can't face the cost and time commitment given the state of the club.
