Tinnitus

Reading this thread it’s surprising how many people have tinnitus. I’ve had it for 10 years and haven’t come across many who have it. Mine came on suddenly while I was in work, sound became a bit muffled and after a while I had this continuous high pitched whining in my ear - to go with the usual whining in my ear from wifey!

Ended up having some tests and an MRI which confirmed some hearing lost. I was given a hearing aid type thing to try and train my ear and drown the high pitch whining out. The tinnitus is there all the time, most of the time I’m able to ignore it but there are times when it plays up and I have to use the hearing aid. Old age!!
