• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Isn’t that quite a tough Q for tipping point, or is that general knowledge? That why I said Luxembourg as that’s the kind of stupid answer I would expect on there.
Agreed, feels more like a Pointless question to me. Name the largest landlocked countries in the world and the top answer in this case would almost certainly be a Pointless answer!

I've never watched more than a few minutes of Pointless when I turn over from The Chase ready for the BBC news (because I'm allergic to adverts). I can't say I understand Pointless as the subject matters of the questions seem so obscure to me that I don't understand how anyone would know the answers. Then again, I'm thick as mince, me.

Today ...

Q ... Before the Last Supper, Jesus washed which part of the disciples body??

Hands, feet or face??

Contestant ... "Well, there were no knives or forks in them days, so hygiene wise - he would have washed their hands!!" 😂

I respect the logic that led them to that answer, no matter that it was the wrong one!

Today on BBC1 - on the "Bridge of Lies"

Contestant had to match up cities with a correct landmark.

She looked at - "Ann Frank/Amsterdam" and said,

"I'm sure Ann Frank lived in the UK." 😳
