Today's attendance

A big reason for attendance is the availability of streams. There’ll be plenty who would be at the game if they couldn’t watch it from their living rooms.

The Sky red button option at 3pm will be the end of people just walking up. Many people are happy sitting at home without the expense and hassle of travelling, parking and paying for entrance to a game.

The atmosphere will be gone at many games in a few years.

Is it in part because Swansea these days play boring football ?
Wrexham have scored 3 times the amount of goals in the league that Swansea have scored and Wrexham are currently pointless.
Cardiff are third tier and had best part of 2k more watch their game against Rotherham compared to Swansea in the second tier had at the same day, time and date against Sheff Utd.

Early morning Sunday bait.

I understand that people are away but there are still people who could have gone down today I am sure.
Some of us shift working ST holders work some weekends . I’ll be there for Watford.

Agreed some people will have trauma after the Williams/Martin fiascos but I’m sure this will change as the speed we played yesterday is the complete opposite, as is our recruitment. One good shafting of a rival team with a big score line and they will soon flock back. It’s just a matter of time.

Cardiff are welcome to the bigger crowds. Crack on. But with a catchment area twice the size of Swansea at least, their crowds are cr@p. But that’s all the headslappers go on about. Bigger crowds, bigger this. Yes bigger
But we are BETTER

Yesterday was entertaining and got you off your seat at times. We have players now that add a good dimension and helps the atmosphere

And I still don't know that Franco song...😁.. any links?

Lots of fans want to be entertained, Swansea have over my time usually played good football (70s onwards) until recent years and now they just keep the ball for the sake of it, pass sideways or backwards, don't commit many players forward.

Absolutely

These excuses are not exclusive to us. It's holiday season for every other club and money is tight everywhere.

We have owners who are sanctioning spending, we have a side capable of competing - get down the swan.com and support the team.

There's still a lot of apathy that's been beaten into the local population from the previous ownership era that'll take some time to erase for some. I thought it was a decent attendance considering we meekly lost the boro game.

Again, that's a lazy excuse, it's obvious for all to see that these owners are completely different to the previous.

Apathy ffs. If it’s apathy they can stay away as far as I’m concerned.
If the worst was to happen and we were relegated I’d be there in the same seat I’ve had for 20 years.
You either bleed black and white or you don’t.

This obviously isn’t aimed at you Yankee Boy but why is it that the biggest moaners about attendances and tickets are the ones that have no intention of attending a game so don’t need to buy a ticket.

Tell me you didn’t go the game yesterday without telling me you didn’t go. And that for me is my last reply to you. Get better bait.

The way we stormed forward for the goal was as good as you’ll get, also for a few minutes during the game we had all 10 outfield players way inside their half.
