Forget his mistakes (and clearly VAR is failing if cards then get overturned on appeal) but that is as unacceptable as any racism. I hope that those culpable are bought to appropriate justice

Death threats are totally unacceptable, Deans been getting away with being controversial for years, and making himself the centre of attention, VAR and the Premiership is now starting to sort the wheat from the chaff, He"ll probably quit soon and claim centre stage again.

I repeat DEATH THREATS ARE TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

It’s because of VAR that both cards were given in the first place. Dean didn’t issue a red card in “real time” but was “asked” on each occasion to view the pitch side monitor. Only then were red cards issued.

Not trying to defend Dean as ultimately they were his decisions. However whoever was doing the VAR is just as culpable, if not more so.

Probably the worst penalty decision I've seen in over 50 years of watching football. Loves to be the centre of attention and thinks he's more important than the game itself. Him and that Welsh rugby referee are exactly the same, got extremely high opinions of themselves. The game is better off without both of them.

We should /could be talking about Mitrovic and his embarrassing response to a 'non foul'. Redknapp and 50 pence head just talked about the decision, never mentioned mitrovic behaviour, Mitrovic play acted to get him sent off, and then when Dean made the decision having watched re play like, he called it as violent conduct ??

That was a dreadful one as well. Was probably more annoyed with the one at ninian park as it stopped us winning the game. Can't quite remember who the ref was against Burnley and when Llorente scored at the end think the roof nearly came off the stadium. But i will never forget Mike Dean for handing them a point on a plate.

Just to add some balance. A long time ago I saw him ref at the San Siro on a very noisy, intimidating night, and I felt he did really well. So he can't always have been crap.
