We've got free midweeks Tuesday 27th April and Tuesday 4th May as well, but that's the last ones for the season (assuming we won't play during the international break for obvious reasons).

Their fans aren't happy - asking how this could happen with a start-of-the-art pitch and undersoil heating. They were fancying their chances too, because they've improved lately and we were given the runaround against Man City.

It's redundant now the game's off, but fancying their chances because we were well beaten by the best team in the country who had won 14 games in a row before Wednesday? That would be as dull as Brentford fans thinking the PL is easy because they beat Newcastle in the EFL cup.

I can understand being encouraged by their own form, but the Man City game would have had zero bearing on the game tomorrow.

I don't think it was so much that we were beaten by the best team in the country - more that we'd expended a lot of energy chasing the ball. Plus they had an extra day's rest over us. Anyway, as someone pointed out to them, we rested quite a few regulars. They fancied playing us on a dodgy pitch too.

Not being funny but isn't there a standard clubs have to achieve to be in the league. If the game is called off due to the pitch being fucked then the club loses the match and the 3 points go to the other team. That would sort out these clubs with sub standard equipment.
