• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Good game to watch. Open, fast and a desperation to win it. I’m not used to any of that.

He had just saved a pen to stop it being 3-1 to be fair. In the end, it meant his team got 1 point rather than 0.

Kasper Schmeichel was just asked in the post match discussion when he thought winning the Premier league with Leicester was on, "the 3-0 win at Swansea just before Christmas was his answer.

Fair play he comes across very well as a pundit in an environment that is becoming more and more overloaded by just being female...

The result tonight with Blackburn Luton has left me frustrated all the more about our lack of urgency in almost the entire second half on Saturday.

Why? That result meant that, even if we'd beaten Hull, we would now have had no possibility mathematically to make the playoffs. We needed Blackburn to lose last night, then beat Millwall in their final match, plus Sunderland to lose or draw.
Although it doesn't make the performance or the whole season easier to swallow, I agree.

Yeah, that late equaliser would have been a right kick in the nuts, even though I still think we’d have fallen short. Probably lead the baggies 1-0, stroll about doing nothing in our own half for an hour and fail on GD 🤣

You really think we'd of done much in the playoffs?

Absolutely zero chance of promotion with fish and our defence, simply not good enough.

  The vast majority of pundits in TV studios are still male whenever I watch a match. Most of them are shite, so may as well give more female pundits a shot. They can't be any worse than Scholes, Ferdinand or Owen can they?

and Keane, Carragher, Shearer, Murphy and Richards. Dreadful. They add nothing of any value. Scott and Carney are like football Einsteins in comparison.

Sean Dyche is forever picking his nose.

Looking for something with a bit more quality than what he's got in the pitch. What a poor second half that was. No surprise they're both down the bottom.

Barnet v Boreham Wood for me

Arsenal v Chelsea for me.

Stat of the night - Aubameyang hauled off at half time. Nine touches of the ball during the first half, four of which were from kick offs.
