Beginning of the end?

Probably a fortnight later than necessary but a welcome step in the right direction.

Coronavirus is here to stay, how we deal with flare-up's and variants will be key, the more we learn about C-19 and how to manage it will determine the "new normal " going forward.

Strange how I’m hearing more about how seasonal flu and common cold numbers plummeted last winter due to the social distancing measures and personal hygiene tweaks, it will be interesting to get some true numbers on that. I even heard yesterday that the common cold virus overrides that of C-19, ie, the common cold attacks the cells and takes precedence mitigating the presence and affect of C-19. Anyone heard that or was I talking to another loony?

You weren't speaking to me  but all that you have stated I've read online - news sites.

Boris said he's looking forward to a drink in a pub soon....that's the kiss of death then, lockdown 3 is on its way!

Still earlier than your Tory mates in England.

Very quiet in St Davids, fair bit of traffic on the way down, mainly Tenby bound.

Did you see the guy on BBC news saying he'd driven 200 miles from Somerset to climb Snowdon? He wanted to get some exercise and didn't think it was a problem as he was wearing a mask and would be outside.

These are the kind of people that make lockdowns necessary and make them last longer than they should.

Probably a “libertarian” Tory who thinks he knows better than the scientists. In other words, thick.
