Excellent read Sad though too say that the Trust doesn't stand for what I believe it stood for all those years ago. Times change but it's now just a shadow

Jobs for the boys now Clive,Directors Boxes and jolly’s forever.

Sadly after all these years they've had the last subscription from me.

Given all this new co-operatio is I find it strange the event at Port talbot last night was not run in conjunction with the Trust but purely a club run event?

Shows you the intent of the club surely...a shame the trust is now dead in the water

"backed by the Supporters' Trust" was the exact wording IIRC.

It's not just forums either. If we think about the awards dinner, which was a Trust initiative and was previously run by the EFRC and Trust, that is now solely a club event with not even a cursory mention.

Been a slippery slope for some time, so nothing new, but is illustrative of how the relationship is working in practice, unless it suits.

I didn't renew this season as the lack of communication just made me feel as if things didn't sit right. This isn't all about imo a poor deal, but a monumental decision should have gone back to the membership in some form.

Yes the biggest disgrace of all is the fact the members knew nothing about it until it was signed, sealed and delivered.

Two saying come to mind.

Action speaks louder than words

It's what's not said not what is said

What's that you said?

I also checked out when the good people felt they had to jump ship. I suppose this is also part of the plan though. No fuss, no challenge, no need to do anything other than collect their freebies, be patted on the head by the Yanks, and show off to their mates about what big shots they are. Why do they need members now.

That's a great piece Uxy.

By the way, I've noticed that the March 2022 Trust Board Minutes state in the Membership Appendix that "Membership numbers have remained stable despite some resignations following the announcement of the legal case settlement."

No mention of exact number of members despite them having given actual membership numbers in the previous 3 months minutes.
