The U21 take on Burnley at Landore training centre, free admission as always and a chance to see some of the potential in our academy. Kyrell Wilson is back from injury and scored a brace on his return in the 3-1 victory over Bristol City on Saturday.

Take a flask the coffee/tea is non existent for most games.

A minutes applause prior to kick for Leighton James a legend at both clubs

Wilson and Glory Nzingo looking dangerous against a physical Burnley side with the ref allowing a fair bit of physical challenges go. A few chances for the Swans but final ball lacking a bit of quality. Kit Margetson, Joe Thomas and Kian Jenkins working well together v vocal from the keeper

Burnley keeper makes a good save from Congreve after a sell worked short corner routine. Burnley 7 Vernon Masara is a bit of a handful for us but keeping him in check at the moment

We concede the softest penalty ever, ball over the top, the striker chipped past Margetson and then went down went with the ball out of reach. Well converted by Tommy Mcdermott. Swans 0 Clarets 1

Dominated possession and chances but Burnley have their tails up now

Maliq Cadogan playing well and been unlucky not to score

HT 0-1
We have worked hard to make space and probably had the most possession, don't deserve to be losing but not really worked their keeper since they scored.

Goal Kyrell Wilson after a cracking pass from Ben Lloyd. 1-1

The ref events books a Burnley player after a high and late tackle

Break due to injury to Joe Thomas, game has been quite scrappy with a host of poor final passes from the Swans

Another good pass from Lloyd just evades Wilson who was clear on goal. Congreve has taken a couple of long distance shots when a pass was the better option. I expected more from one of the more experienced players.

Great move from Lissah, Lloyd, Congreve and Nzingo left the latter on the centre spot but fired a hard shot straight at the keeper. Charlie Veevers doing some good grafting in midfield.
