• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line-up

That's because we have only replaced one out of Joe Allen and O'Brien.

Inoussa and Widell are not central midfielders. They are AMs/wingers.

If reports are true we are in for this Brighton boy, we need him in pronto.
What a gapping hole in midfield has the loss of O’Brien made ?
The box to box engine we currently don’t have.
And yes, we do need him pronto.

To be honest I see Franco as a decent box to box engine type player and thought Galbraith would be the holding DM behind him, but Sheehan decided to try and play him as a 10 yesterday which was a bit baffling.

I guess he didn't want to start Widdell in CM in a tough away fixture to kick off the season...? Although after seeing how poor Middlesborough were I'd have made that change at half time and hooked Fulton, but what do I know...

I would love to see really in-depth stats for Fulton to try and figure out what all these managers seem to see in him that the majority of us fans don't. For instance I wonder what the team's win percentage is when he starts?

Agree but will he want to come he is deciding which club ?

Having a good read with online platforms and slot of people are not happy with Sheehan already and the tactics.

Surely last season's run wasn't all down to O'Brien alone!?

I’d have thought he would be concentrating on the charity shield, not us.

Of course it wasn't, although he did play a big part. Changing a manager will almost always have more impact on a team than just changing one player would.

Sadly, we've always had a few online fans who wanted us to fail so they could be proven right, even when most of us were on forums like this. Now we have fans all over social media, where hot takes are all that matters, so we have a lot more 'fans' who want to be proven right more than they care about the club.

Watching Fulton attempting to get forward and track back was a painful watch. His timing of tackles are borderline reckless and he has very little aerial ability. I'm surprised he played even more so he got 90 mins at Boro
