• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Those of us with tickets...what's happening?
Are we getting sent any voucher etc before Saturday, or is it just a case of giving yer name when turning up ?

Hope you've heard that wrong cos thats fckn mental.

I've just seen a post on Facebook of a response from the ticket office saying fans need to be at the Swan.com no later than 15.30.

Why are the measures so strict this year after years of no trouble and zero arrests? Crazy.

Also rumours of no booze on sale in away end....

Yep, just got off the phone to the ticket off confirming leaving time. Even the ladie said it was bit nuts! They literally don't want us there. It's starting to look like what Rangers did to Celtic...they were fed up of losing to em so tried everything to stop away fans from attending.

Well if these measures are down to scum's side and not ours or the police, we better reciprocate.

Having our lot on their concourse with no alcohol 90 mins before kick is likely to prove troublesome for their stewards.

Coaches leaving at 4 no stops straight in.
So we be in the piggery around 5-5.30 for a 7 45 ko.
WTAF are they playing at ?

Asking for trouble. That's a lot of bored and in reality already fairly drunk people in a confined space hanging for another drink for over 2 hours.

4 o'clock leave for a 7.45pm kick off for a fixture that is just over 40 miles door to door

And that is why so many people just don't bother with the away part of this fixture. Which is probably what they want.

Enjoy if you are going but it will never be for me with those level of plans

Make sure those bags are no bigger than A4 sized mind - they may be there with a tape measure to make sure 😂
