Price list for booking bands in 1969.

Amazing how some bands were rated. John Hiseman Colosseum £125. Wow.

Deep Purple at £ 125 , Grapefruit and some other obscure Bands above them , who knew then the future of some of these groups but an interesting and informative snapshot of that era .

Missed out on Beatlemania in the USA and UK , must have been around that time period they were Gods , along with The Stones .
Wonder what sort of money they were earning compared to that list .

Personal view is there is better music on the oldies list , rather than Jagger + Co jumping about . Never got the Beatles either .

1963. First appearance on TV.

I don’t know/remember if this old shot of the Vetch has been posted before, it’s going back quite a while.

Nice one, Mutey. Any idea what the big white building is in the foreground?

I think it might be the old Drill Hall.
Didn’t the TA’s use that area. The changing rooms were there when the stand caught fire.

I've seen an old plan that labels that as The Royal Arsenal, which would make sense as it appears to have a flagpole on top of the turret tower on the left.

Here's my grandad. I'm pretty certain this was taken in 1919. If anyone can shed any light on what his shoulder tags have on them I'd be off-the-scale grateful.
