Exclusive : Vipotnik and Sheehan talks. The issue with Zăn Vipotnik is off the field as well as on it. He wasn’t happy not getting game time last weekend (source) and of course with Sheehan talking up a striker just before that game he isn’t happy. You will also deduce this from his interview above, he clearly states Liam Cullen has the shirt despite also mentioning his scoring numbers being poor. None of this is sitting well with Vipotnik who we have already seen in a Swans shirt this season, despite his toe injury it isn’t exciting anyone. He has had talks with Sheehan about leaving, he really isn’t happy. Confronting the Swans Head Coach on his future, he is borderline if not already verbally putting in a transfer request. He still has that knack of arriving too late for nailed on strikers chances in the box, his awareness and concentration isn’t at all good. People say give him time, we say he’s had enough time.

Well he has written his own destiny. He was borderline not Sheehan first pick and he tried to give him a chance. Telling Sheehan you want to go, now speaks volumes on his comment about Cullen. If anything this tells me they are all but ready to bring someone in and replace VP. Not many will be crying over this one.

You did call it . I just didn't see him going. But myself included irrelevant if I was late to the party, the Crawley match for me and a lot of those who supported VP, finally gave into that he was not good enough. He has had opportunity to take the shirt, and though glimpses, he will now without a doubt be gone. Pity, we all wanted there to be a player but as many have said if you can't get ahead of Cullen then there is a problem. Yes, Cullen contributes alot more to the team and I like him at times, but he is not a striker. And that says it all. If VP didn't have fans before he won't now, not after unofficially putting his transfer request in. He certainly isn't a certain Newcastle player.

I think we was all hoping for a Mitrovic type of player, but he just doesn’t offer much at all unfortunately, think he’ll go on to do well elsewhere though back in Europe somewhere, hopefully can get a decent fee for him.

Perfectly said. Mitrovic was type of player I wanted him to be. Hopefully as you said we get a decent fee for him and he fades off somewhere in Europe.

Get Kyle Wilson in the squad this weekend and leave VP out. Got nothing to lose. Its been sad to see the amount of strikers we have gone through and not many have made an impact.
