Appreciate the explanation! I think Zan's power and range of shooting (he can score from anywhere and either foot/head), his vastly improved hold up play, makes him the better player. Adding in the fact that he's 18 months younger, that gives him the edge on a transfer value
I just don't see Vip getting that sort of time to get those powerful shots of at a higher level in a consistent fasion especially when it's one of your main selling points as a player.

Agreed though his hold and link up play is top he's really improved on that over the last year.

Not really. If we value him at £18m, yet only receive offers of £10m, then clubs are going to miss out on their man. He's going to be massively in demand, teams will be desperate to land him - we need to make sure we're properly compensated
I hope you’re right and happy to be proved wrong in the summer in terms of the interest and offers we’ll get.

Obviously I’d be even happier if we keep him.

Definitely should take what we get from him. Anything 10mill and above I'd accept.

As for a ST if Vip goes they'd obviously bring one in but we'd have to cross that bridge when we come to it. To get promoted from this league you have to sell your players especially when they are overvalued to then reinvest.
Thank god you aren’t running the club then. Got to be worth 20-30 million in anyone’s money- especially if he does what I think he will do and hit 25 plus. Players who can smash a ball with both feet are as rare as rocking horse shit. Add the free kicks and all of a sudden his worth has shot up.
