With the position we're in, and not having any pre season or preparation time, and the number of games coming, not allowing much training time, do you think at least one coach will be kept on even as a short term measure?

Looking forward to seeing what Matos can do. We’ve got to allow him some time to get his methods across but results also need to be prioritised. A couple of home wins for some breathing space would be nice. I’m hoping that the supposed intensity of Sheehans preseason means that the players aren’t too far off fitness wise.

I would guess we are going to keep O’Leary & Margeston. The other 2 brought in last summer (Spearman & O’Dea) I think will leave as they were brought in as direct assistants to Sheehan

Margetson has always been thought highly of & he seems to have done a good job with our first choice keepers over the years I.e Vigiroux, Rushworth & Woodman have all seemed to have done well working with him
Would be a shame to lose him. He’d be working with a premier league team if it wasn’t for his reluctance to move from Baglan

Maybe O Leary goes as well? He was described to be the bridge between the under 21 to main team. But I wouldn't complain if he is not involved as we need a reset. Keep Marg though. That would be crazy to get rid of.

Performances and results have been consistently so poor that any small improvement will be welcome. I will be intending to back him and hope he does brilliantly and think everyone should do the same. I understand all the misgivings and if we lose 5 games in a row, my good faith will dissolve fast but all we can hope for is something on the pitch that is worth watching and devoting our time too. Does not need to be dominant or fire us right to the top of the table but just respectable and get rid of any concerns we have right now of whether we will be facing Wolves or Bromley next season.

Not expecting much from tomorrow or Saturday but the following week we've got home games against Portsmouth & Oxford. If we don't win at least one of those we'll be right in the shit.

I think Britton and Allen will get a short-term coaching role

Not the best article, in lots of unhelpful ways. Timing, is everything.

The Leadership we should focus on right now is:
- on the grass
- and in the dugout.

Cabungle aint no captain - having a Swans footy team led by our worst footballer is twp. Contrast that with what Grimes gave us - our best footballer, chief architect and inspiring leader - and he's kicked on under a proper footy manager to lead them to the top where he belongs.

Sheeezy ain't no proper footy manager - he's a very simple coach, with very simple ways who simply lost the dressing room, prompto.

Our richly assembled, wide 'n deeply talented squad now deserves a proper footy manager to play the progressive, punchy, sexy Swans brand we crave - and to win effectively, efficiently and entertainingly, as per.

The focus now is firmly on the pitch.....

We’re in big trouble.
I think we were under Sheehan and O’Dea - if the players can receive Matos well and buy into his methods at least we’ll be looking more upwards and downwards at the table. Big job ahead of him but sometimes these situations bring out the best in people. Let’s hope they all respond and get us out of this malaise.
