• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Vitor Matos | First Press Conference

Gorringe looked quite ill in that presser.
Huge bags under his eyes and you could see the stress in his face.

Can't argue much with what Vitor himself had to say.
Well perhaps except that Leon and Joey won't be playing

Coach speak sounds so much better in his accent. Mourinho might be a step too far but hopefully he is our Marco Silva or Nuno.

Didn't realise Nick Cave was in to football.

Don't forget he announced quite recently his mother is ill with cancer. There's life outside football.

Impressed with new coach's first interview. Hope we all give him a chance now.
Yeah, I totally agree and had forgotten his mother's illness. It was clear by his face that he has had a tough time. Nothing funny about it for me

Regards Matos interview, he does come across very well.

Good luck Vitor. If you can get us playing attractive football while winning points, more power to you.

I did appreciate the last question about 3 year contracts and the nervous ear-scratching that got out of Gorringe. The 3 year contract to Sheehan was a monumental error.

And Vitor, WHATEVER you do - no fist pumps please. Just keep your emotions to yourself, (winning the play offs aside)

I believe she recently passed and he took some time off. Imagine with that and the chaos it's not helped.
