• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Wasn't aware and totally explains why he was looking unwell.
As said, more important things in life.
Yep. More important things. Try tell others that on this forum. We all get too involved and get rattled. I'll be first one to admit that. But there are far more important things in life and we only get one shot at it 👌👌

Cancer.. just after Blaze died.. my auntie got diagnosed with cancer, my fathers best mate got diagnosed with cancer, my mother's friend got diagnosed with cancer, was going for an operation today, but got canceled because she's got underlying heart issues, oh and just this last week my close neighbour for 20 odd years died suddenly in his sleep at just 64.. all within 3 months, plus my father's cousin has terminal cancer and he only found out this year.. so can the players do me a favour and be bothered tomorrow, Championship football is a pretty decent standard, you've got some ability.. but mainly do it for Gorringe and Stamenic at least

I believe she recently passed and he took some time off. Imagine with that and the chaos it's not helped.
That's sad to hear. Yes the stress of finding a new coach would have been the last thing he needed when he was grieving. I saw him getting some real abuse at the end of Ipswich game re Sheehan and said to my mate that he looked strained.
