Dont we need to be top two though?

Top goes through automatic, second goes to a play off, third gets nothing.

However if we finish third or lower we will probably get a play off by virtue of being in the top tier of the nations league,but will be an away tie.

My understanding was

24 teams qualify as hosts
Germany as hosts
10 group winners
10 runners up
3 nations league play off winners

We had the weakest record in Nations League A so surely the only way we can get a play off spot is if 6 of the 12 teams in League A qualify automatically (which is exceptionally likely) - that could still happen (as I understand it) if we finished bottom of the group

24 hosts!? I'd hoped UEFA had knocked that idea on the head after the last Euros :mrgreen:

Makes arrangements hard to guess, to book anything early and get cheaper prices.
Finish 1st play in one city, 2nd somewhere else, play off elsewhere.
Sure these football organisers are shareholders in every form of transportation and hotel chains
