• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Draw at end of the month.
Is there any chance we could come up against those jammy Scottish c***s? Revenge after all these years would be oh so sweet.....Are you watching Jordan you cheating bell-whiff?

Not in the semis, they’re also seeded. It’s possible in the final depending on the draw.

I bet Bryn hasn't got Braveheart in his DVD collection 🤣😂

Au contraire, I quite like Mr blue face Gibson, having a crack at those evil English/Norman types. It's just Joe sodding Jordan that deserves a good pond ducking....

Here's a question, if Giggs was still in charge, would we have done as well as we have. A moot point maybe.🤔

That is a Great result when you take into account 5 of those starting have played more for Wales than their first team since the start of this season.

With Morrell now out of the play off, anyone think we'll need Ampadu in the middle with Allen?.. or will page be bold and select Bale

Legoland has its uses, the atmosphere was amazing tonight, superb performance too 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚽⚽

You’d hope to God so (Ampadu) given the alternative is Vaulks. Mind you, Levitt was doing well at Dundee Utd until he got crocked, albeit at mini minors football level. Trouble with playing Amapadu in midfield is that Mepham continues in defence; a terrifying prospect when he could potentially be up against Lewandowski...or really anyone with an ounce of strength.

Might be wrong here but I think Giggs’ court case is in Jan. In the extremely unlikely event he beats it he’d have to come back in, wouldn’t he?!

We should always play at the Principality. I'd rather 70,000 cheering us on than 25,000 (figures are estimates)

I agree Dicky, as long as its a sell out ish, wouldn't want it there with only 25/30 k in there

I used to go to the national stadium back in the day - didn't miss a home game for over 10 years - Italy where when we won, Romania - yes, that game etc., and the atmosphere was great - good TV build up too (that's where "Can't take my eyes off you" came from). But... I speak to a lot of Swans fans who now follow Wales and pretty much all say they're happy at legoland. It's sort of built momentum now, and my understanding is the players are resolute to remain there. Commercial opportunity missed though, but if it gets us to the WC though, win win.

Giggs could be back as manager in march, he should do the decent thing and resign even if he gets acquitted in January , or at least leave page in place for the play offs
He might not want to be in charge in march anyway, if the play offs go badly everybody will blame giggs

I assume he's still under contract. Like you say depends on the verdict I suppose as to what happens after that.🤔

I can see the benefits of playing in the Principality Stadium (or whatever it’s called these days) and when things were good they were good with an electric atmosphere, but I’ve also been there when we have crowds of 20,000 and 30,000 and it’s been devoid of any atmosphere. In a big stadium we’d certainly attract more support and generate more income, but we don’t always fill the CCS, my preference would be to stick where they are now.
