I’m with you. They’re a great team full of decent, young guys with an inspiring manager. Hope they win.

I like most of the team well enough and Southgate seems like a good egg. The problems I have with them winning are the media and fans.

It's easy enough to ignore the majority of the media, so that's not a huge concern. They'll talk sh*t whether England win or lose.

The vast majority of the fans are fine, but we all know there'll be a large minority who'll be f*cking unbearable if they win. See the abuse of the crying German girl and the reaction to the JustGiving campaign for evidence. It would be the same if Wales won a tournament, most of us would just be overjoyed with the win, but a minority would be focused on being tw*ts about it to fans of other countries. England has a much bigger population, so naturally they have a lot more c*nts.
