Chelsea won’t play him. They will sell him to, say, Villa or West Ham, or abroad for a few bob and then they will buy him back for £70m when he proves to be better than what they have. Or Man City or Liverpool will get in first. It’s the Chelsea way.

I hope he goes more the Mason Mount route but i fear you are right.I wouldn't rule out a move to Germany they seem to hoovering up a lot of English talent.

Mason Mount wouldnt have got his chance at Chelsea if they went for Tuchel before Lampard I dont think

He got lucky and took his chance but I'll wager they wouldnt have given him the chance under anyone else (and that isnt a ringing endorsement of Lampard as a manager!)

I feel that it had as much to do with their transfer ban as it did Lampard.
