Mrs Mute is affected by this situation and we had, many years ago, worked out our retirement with her finishing at 60. Obviously things changed with the retirement age for women and messed up our plans. It’s good to see the report by the Ombudsman saying that women had a rough deal but I don’t think my wife will get much in the way of compensation, if any. She worked out the difference between what she has now and what she would have had if retiring at 60 and it was around £48,000. Is anyone else affected ?

Yes, Mrs JB is in the same boat. No correspondence whatsoever from DWP about the change. Fortunately we keep up to date with current affairs and became aware of it.
Still, due to the time frame involved, a huge increase in investment was required to get anywhere close to covering the shortfall.

Take a read of some of the posts on SI, I'd say it was an eye opener, until you see who some of the posters are. Dear me, indeed, Fair play to OHL though 👏
