"We need to move on" - Coleman takes a swipe at former owners

Let's look at this in a balanced way.

It's fantastic news that K&L have finally f*cked off. That cannot be anything other than positive.

But this still leaves Colemanballs in charge of things. He knows as much about football as Gary Glitter knows about childcare.

Just have to keep our fingers crossed that the next 'Director of Football' or whatever he'll be called is a few notches up in quality than the Luton office intern. If we get that appointment right, we can still get our sh*t together as a club.

New head of footballing matters is key.
The poison has been drawn, they got their exit strategy, which I assume was to become completely invisible for 6 years and hope their investors have written us off or just forgotten about us.
Happy to give Coleman a chance, I think we’ve got a great young manager, some good youngsters coming through, a solid core and some foreign lads still to get up to speed.

This hedge fund took the bait with all the J2AK spiel and saw an opportunity to make some money (that's what hedge funds do). There was a lot of cash around at the time: Premier League status, lots of saleable assets player-wise, and then parachute payments. We can all debate where the money has or has not ended up.

What can't be argued is the state we find ourselves in now—basically the polar opposite of when the hedge fund took the reins. This is the reason I'm filled with hope for the future. The new guys coming in know the score. They come in with eyes wide open: no Premier League, no parachute payments, not many saleable assets player-wise. But they are willing to take us on.

Onward and upward! 🙌
