Hopefully he’ll stop putting square pegs in those round holes. The confidence and momentum gained from that 2nd half transformation will be massive.
And against a team of Prem players, LW will be chuffed with the collective effort to turn it around so emphatically. He will now have a clear understanding of our holes and pegs, just at the right time for this window.
The injury to Parker really hurt us in this respect. I genuinely hope his layoff is not a long oneYou'd think so. We are desperate for pace. We broke the lines numerous times today but didn't have the pace to exploit it
We took the game to them 2nd half, and RM struggled to respond. His frustration was clear and obvious in his presser. We looked far better as a back 4… we’ll cause most teams problems this season if we play like we did in the 2nd half (or was that just Saints taking their foot completely off the gas? - probably a bit of both)
Clesrly missed the second half then. In balance, should have got a draw today. Some absolute sitters missedSomeone also needs to have a word with the players about their body language because it’s shocking. They looked beaten after the first few minutes.
I totally agree with your original post. Embarrassing in the first half and should have scored 4 or 5 in the second half.Clesrly missed the second half then. In balance, should have got a draw today. Some absolute sitters missed
The two previous managers did the same thing. What do they see that we don’t?Hopefully he’ll stop putting square pegs in those round holes.
That’s down to the captain on the pitch, to rally the troops. Too cajole. Out captain can’t do either.I totally agree with your original post. Embarrassing in the first half and should have scored 4 or 5 in the second half.
I was at the game and didn’t miss the second half, my point about the body language isn’t just about our first 45mins. Heads visibly drop when things aren’t going our way.
