Not surprised really, just disappointed that they are not even going to look at options. We are regressing at a rate of knots, I just dont get it. All they keep banging on about is the environmental impact and I get that. However, when considering such schemes you look at the whole picture, and they dont appear to be interested, it's very short sighted in my humble opinion.

Its fucking madness in it, you seen the queues on the M4 bridge and road going east to Port Talbot and west to Llandarcy on certain times of the day, restricting speed to 50mph has or will make very little difference to air quality when you got those queues which can and do stretch from Margam Crem through to Llandarcy and further, same as A465 after 7am and between 3:30 and 5pm or later, when you got gas guzzling arctic's and their like in those queues, they've clearly not thought these rules through, same with this 20mph limit.
The speeds make little difference to air quality in those situations. a 2 lane motorway in this day and age is virtually useless.

What really epitomised the utter negligence and lunacy of it all for me, was the fact that North Walians were forced to fundraise to buy vital radiotherapy kit out of their own pockets.....Why?....Because there wasn't any vital equipment there in the first place, because many had to travel over the border into England to be treated. Wrong turn mmmmmmm????

But don't worry folks, if you want to see Madame Butterfly, Tosca, or a load of clog wearing folk dancers pirouetting and jumping over swords laid upon a stage? The heavily subsidised and tax funded multi-million mega loss making Opera House in Cardiff Bay is the place to go. Built for ALL the people in Wales according to a former 'great leader' apparently.
I bet the people of Wrexham are absolutely delighted? Talk about one of the most obscene and sickest examples of reverse-prioritisation ever! And that is of course why our SW Wales/Singleton Hospital regional cancer head/professor resigned in protest, because exactly same standards of Cardiff Bay neglect have happened down here as what has been witnessed in North Wales and other regions!
