86 points, as I've said all along. Trampie will disagree.

Ok 89 to absolutely seal the deal then. So 36 from 19.

Handy that we’ve already played both Brentford and Norwich twice.

And we don't play Reading & Watford until the last 3 games.

I had hoped when we signed him that Hourihane would give us the balance our midfield has been crying out for. He is basically a better more experienced Conor Gallagher who has a very palpable end product. In honesty the midfield trio of Grimes, Fulton and Hourihane gives us the perfect blend of experience, youth, grit and class and I can't see many teams putting one over us based on current form.

Goals are coming in from all over the team too so when Lowe and Ayew get a sticky patch we are still scoring, it takes a lot of pressure off the front two and also some of the pressure off Morris when he gets his opportunities.

Hourihane at this level reminds me a lot of Cornforth at L1 level in the early 90s. Basically a class above, capable of creating and scoring goals, and more generally a positive influence on the team and a leader on the pitch.

We’re in really good shape.

We can lose a game or two and go up auto. There is not much room for error though.

On target for 90/91pts that would work out along the lines of

11 wins, 4 draws, 4 losses

Hopefully won’t have that many losses though

Can you imagine the final impact when our January loan players are match fit

No doubt there will be a defeat in there that nobody is expecting much like Derby away (sods law it'll be against the Scummers just as we look nailed on for a double), but if we bounce back as well as we did from that one we should be ok.

Yeah, we laughed at Ordinary West London Gasworks FC for thinking they were something special and Tommy the Tank’s antics. Now we have to take it on the chin with our Pooper Scooper overflowing with bullshit in plain sight for all to see.

We were superb that night and it goes to show what we're capable of. What has happened since is inexcusable and doesn't resemble the squad that was being commented on at the time

Hindisght is awalys 20/20 though, init, and I'll not apologise for trying to be positive

Nowt wrong with this thread. There were no dissenting voices at the time.

Yeah, up until then we'd only lost four times all season and hadn't lost since early December. We were winning games fairly comfotably for the most part - Cardiff away, Barnsley twice, Rotherham, Norwich... Since then we've lost as many games as we've won.
