• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It's bloody beautiful out there, dog walk coming up, bit of tidying up in the garden, out for a pub lunch, then settle down for the big match, Motherwell v Celtic 🍀
Wife out with her mother this afternoon down the arena for some show or other, so me and the dog planning a lazy settee day in front of the racing and footie. I managed to squeeze an October grass cut in yesterday. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t my wisest decision.

Sounds perfect. Enjoy.

A romantic Sunday stroll through the woods was it Jaxxsy, followed by a nice Sunday lunch and a couple of light ales to wash it all down :D (y)
Aye just me and my boy 😍

No ale today, struggling a bit with a bad cough, spot of lunch just now and back for the Celtic game.

Nah, she will be upstairs watching Poirot most probably 😂
Used to watch Foyles War when it was on, it was excellent viewing Michael Kitchen played an excellent part and was great in playing the part I used to watch it because of him a lot of the time, Endeavour was and is another good program.

Hope you taking a dinner back for the good lady?

He's a decent player, scored against Celtic last season too, another ex Swan Alex Gogic is having another fine season at St Mirren having also played for Hamilton Accies and Hibs in the SPL, AG would be perfect for us in the position we find ourselves in at the moment imho...
Goal for Gogic at Ibrox now as well 😂🫶

Aberdeen have improved this season, whats the score there investor gone in there etc ?
They have done really well this season, especially after losing top scorer Bojan Miovski in the summer.

The new manager Jimmy Thelin has got them playing some good football, was very impressed with an Irish lad that plays left side midfield against Celtic, Jamie McGrath.
Has to be said though, apart from Celtic, they have had a pretty easy run of games so far, but plenty are saying they could split Celtic and Rangers in the SPL this season...

I am heading up north tomorrow. Flying to Inverness and having a bit of a tour across the Highlands and a few whiskey distilleries, then winding my way south by train for a few days in Glasgow and Edinburgh, then back home in time for work on Monday. Not been up there since pre Covid times.

Some great boozers in Glasgow still, head up to the Barras in the East End, don't expect any food but the pubs are fantastic (if your of the green & white persuasion).
Bar67 is a favourite of mine, though haven't been up for a while unfortunately 😕
