• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Now that the derby is out of the way and all that it means and quite rightly stands for, we can have it in our "locker" that we have a mentality that can see us compete to get out of this division to a higher level.
So many will have "grown up" and learnt from today and the midweek comeback against Reading.

I'm the first to criticise but very quick to heap praise when it is clearly due.

Now come on you Yanks, back the club and the management 🤞🦢⚽

I said it on the main match thread, the starting lineup today was very young.
I did a quick look and I don't think a single player in the 11 was over 26.

Martin said on Radio Wales we had the youngest starting line up in the league for the second week running.

Quite a statistic

I'll be looking next saturday to see if Martin has learned from the Burnley experience.
If we go with the same formation as today, with Lati and Sorry as wing backs, we'll have another pasting. I'd go with a solid defensive four at the back, and five in midfield supporting Obi.
