What is going to happen between now&end of the season?

Think we stand a chance of getting something against Sheffield United away, they aren’t on the best form and if we show up on the day, we’ll cause them problems.

Watched the highlights from yesterday, actually was encouraged by some of our attacking play and there was an element of unluckiness to all the goals we conceded.

We aren’t as bad as that scoreline yesterday suggests and I think we’ll pick up a few more wins before the end of the season. I’ll be surprised if we beat last seasons tally though.

With a slightly sharper edge we could have won our last two games, we breached Wrexham and Cov several times but lack the punch and confidence.
Ok we lost both times but should have been 2 up in both games.
The machine is working, we won’t go down, I’d put my life on that, we just need better cogs and some high-grade grease.

We have a chance in all remaining games.

Matos Just needs to stop selecting players who are full of errors, create nothing, don't score and don't know the offside rule.

Albeit this only gives him a squad for a 5 a side team.

We wouldn’t go down if we didn’t get another point.

I think we'll lose all our away games for a start, because we're pretty shyte away from home. If you think Leicester are going to fold, think again, they are fighting for their lives and gave us a good hiding earlier in the season. They are only down there through a points deduction.
Do you think we'll get anything at home to Boro or Saints? Both are fighting for promotion, they are not on the beach. I hope we'll beat Charlton, as long as they're not needing a point or three to stay up.
And please don't accuse me of taking pleasure in the Swans doing badly, that is nonsense and insulting. I've supported this club since 1965, I'm a season ticket holder and I hate it when we lose, just hate it, it spoils my whole week. I'm just calling it as I see it, based on two massively disappointing performances in our last two games, when all our faults were glaringly apparent.
Agree with most of that BUT leicester would only be 3 places better off without the points deduction

Birmingham City went down with 50 points in season 23/24 and its quite possible that that tally could be equalled if not beaten
7 games to go for Leicester and Oxford with 13 points to make up. Both teams will need to average 2 points per game and that's without us picking up anymore points.
Hardly going to happen but the run of games we have might make us pay more attention to what's behind us than is really needed.

I think our next 7 games will give us an indication of the mentality within the camp.

You do realise that Oxford or Leicester would have to basically win 5 out 7 to vertake us if we get no more points, plus all the other teams being humped right left and centre like Pompey doing similar. And that’s if we don’t get another point. None of those things will happen. We’ll be mid table on around 60 points and the relegated teams will be 50 max, probably fewer than 48.

Stop playing the loan players and give Walta and Widdell every bit of time we can.

We will stay up comfortably, Matos has done a good job at ensuring that despite the big weaknesses in the squad, now he needs to start building for next season. I know players need time to adapt but it is a little strange that Walta has played so little, hopefully now there is no lingering hope of a play-off push, he will be a little less conservative with his starting line-ups.

I’m really looking forward to next season. It feels we are in a better place going into a summer for quite some time and there is clearly more alignment now it’s settled behind the scenes and they appear to all be on the same page.

We need lot better transfer windows to progress in this league and possibly challenge for the playoffs along with trying to hang on to Galbraith and Vip.

We have spent a lot to tread water and a number of signings still have question marks over them. I agree we should not play Nunez Smith and Yalcouye if there is no intention of signing them in the summer.

We have a chance to bed Walta in and maybe change shape and give players who are fringing the first team a chance to step up
