What type of manager do we want?

Rockin wants any one who's played for us but must not have coaching badges, talk about clueless.

Is that what Iā€™ve said? This forum is beyond ridiculous. Anyone who has played for us? Where have I said that? Honestly what is the point. I canā€™t tell if youā€™re thick or having a bit of ā€œbanterā€ my guess is a bit of both.

And coaching badges? Seriously. What are you waffling on about.

This is why I have to leave this forum so many times, itā€™s just full of people who twist things and pick up on one element without looking at the whole.

Iā€™ll break it down one more time for the hard of thinking.

- I want Williams to stay for a bit longer, with the hope (yes Iā€™m an actual supporter) that he turns it around.

- If he doesnā€™t, then I would not rush a replacement and would be tempted by a temp appointment like Sheehan or Tate someone who loves and knows the club. Short term.

- I would be scoping out a wide selection of applicable candidates from a wide spectrum with an open mind. I would be focusing on a vision for the club top to bottom, with a focus on driving up standards across the board. So this would mean backing someone with investment and patience. I would hope for someone who has a vision of blooding young players, emphasis on strategic investments not lots of loan players and ideally plays attractive attacking football.

The latter point might take months to identify. That is my point, how many times must I have to repeat this.

Putting someone on ignore is a bit silly though isn't it, if someone posts something you disagree with then reply, if it starts to get a bit personal then either carry on or stop replying. Usually things escalate because of the need to get the last word in.

Someone doesnā€™t go on ignore for saying something I disagree with. Good grief me and ECB have argued for years on here and we respect the other persons opinion. There are several others too and I have often listened and reflected as a result.

I canā€™t abide it when stuff is twisted and derailed it ruins the thread and you just get drawn into silly back and forth.

Itā€™s a completely understandable position to take to say sack Williams. Iā€™m obviously very much in minority my simple argument is that we need to be careful as weā€™ve not got out of a rut for several years and keep going into a weird loop.

If we are to sack Williams, I would like us to either have a plan setup or have time to implement it. We have been in a downward spiral for a while now and need some out of the box thinking.

There is some truth to the Swansea way being up for discussion. As someone who advocated something similar prior to all the branded fuss I do contend itā€™s become something that is potentially negative as weā€™re not moving forward with the times.

Iā€™m passionate that we start moving forward again and itā€™s annoying me that people are taking this as me just being a contrarian or whatever it is. I want us to get this right, as I believe this is make or break time now.

People take things way too seriously upon times, I can be guilty of it.

I enjoy coming on here to have a laugh and chat about football.

We all get caught up in the emotions of things, especially after results like Sunday. Just a bit of respect and treat others like you want to be treated yourself.

Listen this is the last word I'll say on this. I expressed an opinion that having Allen as our next manager was a bad idea, didn't mention your name in my post, you replied with a meltdown, calling me beastly names, so I gave it back, you then ran to the mods who removed the posts.

All a bit sad really but there you go, guess you can't express opinions on here anymore.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

He turned Wales down didnā€™t he because of the project at Como, didnā€™t he manage them for a while until Fabregas took over?
