• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

They tow the party line, and in theory, they watch too many films and don't live in the real world.. it's not their fault, it is what it is

Why do managers and players say “over the season we haven’t been good enough”

That’s f*cking obvious.

Or ,"we never won enough games" Never.

Aye, they should say “we were too good to go down” or we were cheated by a succession of c***s for refs.

What do you expect them to say other than the truth?

You could say that about any interview with a footballer, they're just throwing mundainities about the place, stating the bleeding obvious. And let's be honest they have nothing to say of any value, your life isn't going to be enriched or made any worse by any of the vacuous baloney they spout out of their traps.

Top tip for you, if you're watching a match on the telly switch it off when the ref blows his whistle. Record Match of the Day and fast forward through all the hot air that gets emitted between the highlights. The only talk of any value or consequence a footballer does, he does with his feet.

quick question. If you turn it off when the ref blows his whistle how do you know when to turn it back on?

Remember the good old days when the news used to announce "highlights of todays games will follow so if you dont want to know the score then please look away now"

And then tell yo the scores as if looking away suddenly makes you deaf
