• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I'm not saying it would of definitely changed the result yesterday but it might of done. I was really disappointed he didn't get a start in the game after his hatrick, his confidence would of been sky high. I do think Martin missed a trick there, specially how Cullen played. What's people's thoughts on this?

Whats peoples thoughts on this? I will tell you my thoughts.

Eric Lamella had scored 3 goals in his last 2 games for Sevilla, but his manager dropped him to the bench yesterday, and then they managed a 1-1 with Elche.

Jamal Lowe torn Cardiff City to shreds in the derby game and scored two goals, but yet Cooper dropped him to the bench when we played Cardiff at home which could potentially have been the first league double. (my mate in work is a Cardiff fan, and said even though Lowe was out of form, they were all pissing themselves laughing that he had been dropped to the bench, they were shit scared he would start.

Paul Clement refused to play Leon when he was clearly the best player we had at the time, albeit getting on, was the best player, again refused to play him, until i wrote him a letter, and then he played him.

Whittiker scores a 12 minute hattrick, but Cullen starts ahead of him. Regardless of the hattrick being against a lower league side, the point remains.

For some reason or other managers don't do the bleeding obvious, and leaves us all scratching our heads.

Martin stated that for whittaker to come on he would have had to take piroe off.

Make of that what you wish🤔

That might be the best thing ever written on Planet Swans, I love it.

Meh.

Leon's role in our survival that season has always been overstated. The poor run of results we had in early 2017 coincided almost exactly with Fernando Llorente's having injury problems. As soon as he was fit and back in the side results picked up. Which given that he was the only forward we had capable of playing isolated up top on his own wasn't a shock.

Britton's absence was mostly used as a reason to slag off Jack Cork.

Not a dig at you FB but I've only seen it written on another independent website no quotes from Martin. All I've seen said is that it was because we had to take Lati off in the first half so used up a sub?

Fair one mate. Not that I'm trying to have constant digs at them over there but it's so reactionary and throws petrol on any fire

I too thought it could be bollox as I'm certain they could both play together.

Just to clarify, it was the SgorioFruit wrote a letter to Clement and got Leon back in the team bit which I loved.

Agree on Jack Cork though, yet another player given lots of undeserved and frankly baffling criticism, a latter day De Guzman if you like.
