Get him back on a six month deal

Let's not :lol:

:mrgreen: In fairness I was serious. Much better option than Gyokeres and may fit in reasonably well as a sub in Cooper’s team. How many times have we said we need a finisher.

Wouldn't suit the way we play, amongst other things.

Worked nicely as a fulcrum in a 4-3-3/4-5-1, but we're more set up to counter now and that's not his game at all.

Just to add some clarity to this

In the 6 years since Bony joined Man City he has

* Started 43 games
* A further 40 substitute appearances
* Scored 16 goals

We should never have signed him back the second time around (another catastrophically bad decision made by someone who had his eyes set on personal financial prizes) - to do it a third time would mean that we learn nothing

First time round - great player, worth every penny. Once he left we should have remembered him as he was...

We need a better option than Gyokeres, Bony isn't that
