Williams hails "fantastic" performance

He’s spot on. I like Luke and definitely think we’ve got the right man here.
The mentality aspect which he’s previously mentioned goes back to Martin’s reign.
That first half was full of movement and desire. Every single player was on it (unsung hero was Bianchini who wasn’t allowing them any time).
Franco and Cullen were key, finding space and making connections all over the pitch.
Everyone around us was happy, edge of your seat stuff and proud of the boys.
Keep it up lads!!

Bianchini is superb at leading the press. For a team struggling with a lack of pace, he's absolutely lightning, and puts a real shift in. It's a shame he's not able to score a few more, as he'd be a complete lock in the first team, but I like him a lot.

I like Vipotnik too, but he's just not quick enough to offer that press that Luke wants. Wonder if he's going to be more effective as a target man against the 'better' teams from now, as his hold up play was excellent against Sunderland

They both offer us something different, which is handy. The problem is to get them both fully match sharp they need to be playing more than they are, which means one will inevitably miss out.

For January I'd be looking for a winger with actual blistering pace and perhaps another midfielder. Don't think we're in that much need to pay January prices otherwise.

He is rapid.
I loved those through balls we started playing. Our timing was slightly off on a few but will catch a lot of teams off guard.
I like big Vip too, think there’s a real player there.

We have an abundance of latent young talent, and with the right coaching we have the platform to properly kick on.
The positivity, energy and togetherness amongst our young guns is refreshing to see. Some of them are proper buddies off the pitch too.
Flo offers a bit of French mystique and pizzazz up top - he prefers to play wide left cutting in but is just as happy playing 9. Has bundles of youthful adventure and a willingness to learn, adapt and kick on in a massively competitive league.
Something exciting is brewing in SA1.
