Williams out

Williams is a clown.

Apparently Darling was a doubt for the game yet Williams thought it would be a good idea for him to sit on a coach to Southampton and back for a game he wasn't going to play in.

It's mental when you think our other central defender is already injured.
I think there could be a sub plot to why Harry "pulled up short" today... 🤔

In fairness more than likely the players stayed in Southampton overnight rather than make the trek from Swansea at 8 or 9 am or so. By all accounts the Darling problem was only reported this morning so if they did stay overnight then yeah the hands would have been tied in that respect.

Saying that though clubs usually bring a few reserve players / youth prospects on such journeys to give them exposure and in case of any unexpected injury issues cropping up.

None of that excuses the overall team sheet though, by all accounts the only defenders in the squad for the game were one centre half (Darling) and five full backs (Christie, Tjoe-A-On, Naughton, Tymon and Key). To not bring any centre half (even if its an u23's player knocking on the door) was folly of the highest order.

Straight from the horses mouth:

Harry Darling has been here trying to get ready for the game, he travelled on the coach for four hours," Williams told BBC Radio Wales Sport.

"He's a doubt for the derby because he is injured. I was trying to get him ready for this game.

If he's a doubt for the derby, why the hell is he trying to get him fit for Southampton.

Honestly the fella needs to be banned from talking to the press.

I'm starting to think that he's not all that bright.

I'm starting to think you're right. Either that or he's got a form of Tourettes.

The Rushworth signing on for a second season was bizarre.

As we had nothing to play for I thought it would be best to keep him till the end of the season but with the current squad. Now, I'd prefer Charlie Kitbag from Port Tennant Colts. Anyone to play proper positions, proper tactics, proper effort for the remainder of this season.

Alright yes that is a different story.

He should be working with physios not spending 8+ hours on a coach and then sitting on his tod for several more hours watching that shit show.

He shouldn't just be banned from talking to the press he should also be banned from working with the players

If I was Vipotnik I'd have chinned him if my missus gave birth at 6am to not even feature

Just read they are going to re name Naked Attraction.
The show with 6 cvnts and 6 cocks on show...will now be called A day at the Liberty.

Same, here. That's pretty poor man management.

Always two sides to a story. It's still pretty poor form.

I agree. Can't imagine Zan saying "Yes, boss, I can't wait to go down to Southampton for four hours, sit on the bench after barely any sleep and then jump back on the coach home"
