• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Yup. Britain is a very odd country in how it treats its success stories. Her first year on the tour, still a kid. She may never win another Slam again but she’s won one more than any of those abusing her, sometimes in the worst possible way.

Let's be honest though, she's not really British is she, she's half Romanian/Chinese.. I'd be quite patronised if it was me getting called British sensation

She’s British if she says she is and feels she is and that’s what her passport says.

Not knocking it, it's just the way I would feel, if I was her

She's British a.d proud to represent this once Great country.
What a fickle lot some are eh?

She'll be back, as long as I have a whole in my pen ol!

You’d feel patronised as being described as a citizen of a country you’d lived in since yiu were two years old?

If I was a child of Chinese and Romanian parents I would be, but that's just me

Not sure you have a point of reference to be honest but it’s an opinion. 👍

Nadal should win this now, when play resumes, Brits Boulter, Broady, Watson and Norrie through with some impressive displays, come on Norrie you half Welsh tw*t

Very casual observer of tennis and it seems to me that we have a lot more players able to give good players a decent game than we have had in my memory.

Our strongest player is Norrie though, is he really capable of winning it, or is he another Henman type bottlejob, time will tell though, he looks good at least

He’s better now than Henman ever was. I think he’ll win a slam one day now that the “big three” era is coming to a close.

Draper just won the first set after a superb rally by both players.

But looking at Nadal against Beranakis, I think he's got a chance against him, Nadal not looking his best, but Djokovic was terrible in his 1st game and was unplayable in his next.. so you can't write them off, they're unbelievable, I think Djokovic will be around for the next 4 years imo

I agree, not writing them off, especially Nadal given he’s won both if this year’s Slams. Djokovic will win Wimbledon though. Lump on mush. :D
