Not sure how the stats work but having played 13 times and yet to fail it says Current Streak 1 and Max Streak 6. Maybe they start again of you miss a day.

I have 5 3's and 4 each of 4's and 5's.

There's a slim chance. A mate of mine has failed once.

Let's say you establish in three turns that the word is _IGHT.

You've then got three pops at seven possibles. Even if you've already eliminated a couple of them you could run out of turns before finding the word.
